Space Lab is the working name of LOT SPACE SDN. BHD. — a Malaysian freeze-dry preservation lab that builds snack brands on its own lines and manufactures for others on the same ones.
The name
Why “Space”. Why “Lab”.
“Space”
From the way astronauts carry fruit: freeze-dried, so a strawberry keeps its taste and colour on the longest possible trip. And from what space has always meant — endless exploration, the refusal to accept that something can't be done.
“Lab”
Our founder's spirit of adventure: keep an innocent heart, experiment with life, believe in endless possibilities. A lab is where you're allowed to try things — ours just happens to smell like strawberries.
Put together, the name is the whole business: preserve the original taste of things, and keep exploring. The purple side of the house explores process; the pink side — Strawberry Lab — explores a single fruit.
What we are
A preservation lab whose brands are the demonstration unit.
Plenty of factories can match a price per kilogram. What they can't show is brands built end-to-end on their own lines — developed, packed, retailed daily and reordered. Ours are on shelves in Kuala Lumpur right now. That's the audit anyone can run: go taste the evidence.
